Figure ID Help - Australian Manufacturer Mid-1990s

I found these guys unpainted in my lead pile (image from someone else's blog - only image I could find and they didn't know the manufacturer either):



They were sold in the mid-1990s in Mind Games, etc and were clearly cashing in on Warhammer. Sculpts were crude, but less than 50% the cost. I have an orc or two somewhere here too.

Anyone know who the manufacturer was?

I want to say Harlequin miniatures/ Black tree miniatures. They've still got the not GW ratmen in the catalog. I had a look earlier this week and can't remember seeing them but I remember a lot of the not GW fantasy line was dropped. ( when I say dropped, it hit terminal velocity to avoid upsetting the god like beardies and getting a possible  cease And desist order. ) you could if your willing to, just break of the slotta base and look at the minis tab for company logo. Good look and glory to the horned rat.  Squeak squeak.

Inquisition. I still have my old website html if you need the catalogue listing, but plenty pf people in the past asked me for a copy of it to post on their mini pages, so it should be out there easy to find. if you need I can dig out my archives for the listings. I have that pair of skaven and quite a few others in my lead pile as well. Really nice for their time IMO. There was a Napoleonics manufacturer back then as well, I still have all those Can't remember the guys name, but he was very friendly.

I bought mine from Military Hobbies who did mail order back then. White pages still lists him as a business

That base is lead - there's no marks on them, however "Inquisition Miniatures" gets some matches to other miniatures I remember on Google image search.

I wish I knew of a more in-depth catalogue. I still has some Orcs, Goblins and ratmen kicking around waiting to be painted somewhere

Pretty crude as mentioned, but lots of goofy charm. Orcs armed with "nipper sticks" are awesome, especially the one biting his arse!

That's the whole list from the paper catalogues back in the 90's. I only ever got around to buying a few. I should really fix my old web pages - one day....

You can use them as you please, they are really bad pics. I'll say that I can redo the pics with a decent camera now, but you'll probably need to prompt me to stay on top of doing it due to other projects in life.
