That's all there is on the Orinoco blog for now, I'm afraid. Better pics might become available once the greens are cast up.

Nice.  I may have a use for some of these, I could certainly use some of those bamboo pikes

Superb.  :-* If we get a firm date for llaneros then I'm committed. These are what I've been waiting from. Pretty much everything else can be had from other sources if need be.

Hello All,

Orinoco Miniatures are very much still in business. The peasant and Grand Colombian infantry packs, along with commands, will be sent off for casting quite soon. You will be glad to know that Llaneros are next in the production line; basic troopers are finished, the horses are ready and the command is now being sculpted. I will be publishing further updates over at the Orinoco Miniatures blog (including clearer shots of the new figures with an ink wash once back from casting).

Regards

The figures look really good. Can anyone explain the Gran Columbian uniform differences to me? I have looked online and the Gran Columbian official infantry uniform seems to have been blue with red but a lot of plates show infantrymen with fatigue cap in white uniform. Does the white uniform represent an undress uniform, summer uniform, temporary uniform based on peasant style, garrison regiments? The few orders of battle I have looked at don't seem to include any of the units that are depicted in white uniforms.

I really like those peasant levies
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Absolutely. Nicaraguans vs Walker's fillibusters, various  South American peasant militias,  Filipinos, they're probably useful as Mexican peons and my favourite potential use: the Brazilian independence war. Appropriately painted and mixed with the Foundry maroons they'd be great for the war in Bahia.
