Those old style figures just appeal to me much more than the later stuff. I think they just have more character about them. I always fancied a few ghost walkers but never got round to getting any.

Me too, mate.
I have been enjoying digging these out of the leadpile and working on them.

I have also been fortunate enough to get my hands on the other Ghost Warrior. so he shall be added to the band later.

Thank you, sir.
That is a compliment.
 :)

Time for the last one for this week, as I wont be getting any time to finish any more for a few days at least.

Another of my favourite classics, gotta love that shuriken pistol.
 :D

And with his mate from yesterday....

These two I am really happy with, I just hope the next bunch come out as well as these......

Makes a change for me to actually paint something that you send me..... ::)

As for the Jungle stuff: I now have enough materials to get a table covered so I shall begin sorting that out next month.
I am actually quite looking forward to it, as it should be fairly quick and easy to get the result that I want.
Which is always a bonus.

I somehow lost track of this thread and managed to miss the finished shots of the Iron Claw pirates of all things.

They look particularly fantastic Mason.  I tracked down the final few of that range that I required last year and I have been promising myself some alone time with them since, but other things keep getting in the way.

I hope that mine look as nice as yours do, you managed to unify them really nicely with those reds and browns.  I was thinking about going for a similar sort of palette for them, kind of like the vaguely Western-in-space themed uniforms for the Marauders in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

I might even rip off that idea of adding the Psyker to the group... plagiarise wholesale  ::)

They are lovely figures and well worth tracking them all down.
I am sure that you will enjoy painting them when you do.

As for their colouring: They were originally going to be a much more muted colour similar to the original picture of them (some months ago... ::))....

....which I opted against using as I wanted to add more colour to the sculpts as they would look a little confusing with all that detail on them.

As for 'ripping off': Go ahead, mate, as I intend to steal plenty from you in future.
 :D

Thanks, Alex.
It certainly is not my usual approach but I think it suits the subject.

Quick groupshot so far as the 'jungle' has to be put away....

....as it has been sitting on the desk in the cupboard for 'long enough'.
 ;)

It has made me really want to get on with sorting out the jungle scenery as soon as possible, though.

As mentioned elsewhere, Bugsda painted up a set of the Savage Scouts for me....

....who shall be featuring, along with the Iron Claw Space Pirates, in our first game of Inquisimunda later in the week.
 :D

I shall be testing out using some (slightly modified) Old West buildings to create a frontier world settlement setting for that, along with some more period appropriate bits.
Pictures will provide the proof, of course.
 ;)

(Edit: Picture of the Savage Scouts added to this thread for completeness' sake)
