Source for 1:32/54mm British moderns?

As the title says, I'm looking for large-scale British squaddies - prefereably in plastic. I'm interested in running the movie "Dog Soldiers" as a skirmish event at an upcoming con, and, as they say, "Go big, or go home."

If you're happy with SLRs rather than SA80s, have you considered Call To Arms? Check out www.models2u.co.uk, they should have quite a few bits and bobs for you.

You can still pick up the old Airfix set on E Bay if you look carefully, it crops up fairly regularly.

The Airfix Helmand stuff is 1:48. not sure if that's big enough. There are a few soldiers for it, but they may only be available as part of a set.

1991 vintage done by Dragon/Italeri in 1/35th.  I think you might need to go to ebay for them these days but prices and not at the 'collectible' level

There's a few companies making 1/35th resin squaddies, suitable for Iraq/Afghanistan era equiment, I'll get back to you with the companies...
