I wouldn't say washed out! Those pics have come out amazing!! :o :o :o :o :o

I think the natural light and the fact that its not even distributed make the pics look 'real'! If only the brick wall wasn't in shot in one pic!

Can't wait fir the other pics. ......or BLAM now for that matter!

Oh dear, this image perfectly shows the weakness in that project: Your tribe employs male hunters!
Please have a look at my signature and be assured that a certain tribe under my reign will happily aquire the property right at the moment we´ll meet on that board! You did call the project "cave wars", didn´t you?  ;)
Honestly, a perfect piece of terrain that I would be proud of. I´d love to call it my own to provide a proper home to my poorly clad ladies from the stone age...  :D

Still needs a 'proper' Caveman, though....

Thanks.

lol Michi. Don't worry, I have lots more girls (and boys) coming...

Thank you for all the positive comments, here, as promised, are a load more photos.

So, to remind you... It began a couple of months ago with an existing terrain board and a pile of foam slabs...

Plus an approximate plan...

And has ended up like this...

The main point, of course, is for the adventurous cave tribes to make their way across the inhospitable prehistoric landscape and get through the caves (or over the hills) to the hidden valley of plenty beyond... Going through the caves is probably a better bet than going over the hills. Hence the hidden caves beneath the hills... Revealed thusly...

Yes, the lid will gradually slide back to reveal the cave system underneath, as the cave people gradually make their way into the heart of the hills...

I'm not going to post lots of pictures of the caves themselves, because there are a few surprises in there, and I don't want any LAFers who end up playing this game at BLAM or elsewhere, to know what's down there...  >:D

But just to assure you the interior is indeed fully finished, here's a shot of the deep cavern...

And now here are some indoor and outdoor shots (amazing how different the colours look under sunlight and fluorescents), with some inhabitants in situ, or showing some of the detailed finishes...

H Rider Haggard et al, eat your heart out... Is this the way to plateau?
