My first steps into Inq28
« on: April 14, 2015, 02:44:02 AM »
My first steps into Inq28.

First up is my first Inquisitor, Imperial noble or Rouge Trader.

As I said in my blog, still trying to decide if I want to ditch the book for a las pistol.

And now here is a Medici Priest. If he cant cure you, he can at least knock you out.

Here is a desert tribal nomad.

I am thinking of doing a group with spears and bows. And then another group with autoguns and the like.

Heavily armed Merc or Arbitrate.

And interrogator or noble.

I want to make some more none combatants, civilians and light gangers along with the more flighty types

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Definitely looks promising :)

Where does the Arbitrators head come from?  Skitarii?  Scions maybe?

Great start; goes to show again what can be done with all those plastics. I'm curious to see the next installment...  :)

Sisters of Battle?

Sisters of Battle?

I tend to forget that there are any plastic sister bits, but that would be from the Immolator or Exorcist kit in that case I suppose.  Did they both get made in plastic eventually?  I just remember the metal/plastic kits.

I haven't kept up with GW products in a long time, but I simply assumed SoB would have been made into plastics by now...

As far as I know, there's no helmeted head in the Immolator kit though (don't know about the Exorcist), just one bop-lined bare head.

But the bit looks like a SoB helmet, and it's grey, so most likely plastic. Could be resin though; FW perhaps?

I snagged the helmet from one of my brothers bits boxes. It was from his old SOB crew and it was from one of their vehicle kits. Not sure which one.

The exorcist comes with the immolator sprue which is full of SOB bits.  Both kits are a standard Rhino with an immolator sprue but the exorcist comes with huge chunks of metal for the pipe organ and the shrine plates that fit over the rhino hull with all the SOB iconography.  Unfortunately I don't think GDubs will ever make plastic sisters, although the rumors come out every year or so.  The immolator sprues come with quite a few useful bits (though mostly for vehicles but there are a few heads and some small stuff that can be glued to standards.
This is my boomstick!

A little more work done. Plane on getting some paint added to the finished figs this weeknd.

First up, hover flame/chain sword servitor.

I will take care of the gap on his hood.
Any subjections as to how to make, or get convincing tentacles to hang below the robes would be most helpfully. :D

Also a Boltgun cherub, the gears will be cut out and pistol inserted in.

Female Agent, or Inquisitor

Going to give her a belt, another arm and once my order gets in a heavy revolver.

And a Vet Guardsmen.

Parts, Chaos cultists head, Skitarii arms plasma rifle, Cadian body, Legs and SM pouch's front loaded along with a SM big pouch as a Backpack.

Ok some more work done on my INQ28 figs. I Changed the head out on this guy, because I figured the chaos cultist mask was just to...Chaosish.
I also added a pistol and holster from war games factory sci-fi troopers, and a long dagger from a Empire hand gunners fig.

Added some more cables to the flamer wrath.

Gun cherub

And added a pistol from Zinge Industries to the Interrogator, along with a belt from green stuff and pouches.

I need to start priming and painting now.
