Wow, so much brilliant stuff on display on that thread, which for some reason I've never come across before.

My favourites are the Octopus robot and the Sigmarine conversion even of it's difficult to choose among all the brilliant conversions.

Probably 2 of the easiest to paint thanks to the amount of weathering which helps hide all the errors ^^'

Thanks a lot for teh kind words !

Nice pair! I commented about the previous stuff on your blog, but just for the record, your work is inspiring, you just take roads that we the rest didn't even know were there. Keep on!

Cheers guys, very kind of you ^^'

Since you've all been nice and quiet, I'll give you another pair with some hunters for confrontation (Necromunda's predecessor by GW) !

Those guys aren't very well described and pretty much all the information on them is on a couple of sketches by John Blanche :

I clearly didn't make the best of those sculpts but for some reason I just couldn't get to find where to go and in all hoinesty they were not the most pleasant of paintjobs I've had. That's 2 models done anyway which is good somehow ^^'

Now we have hunters we might want to have something else than human preys ! Here's an astral hound based on a resin model from figone. While not accurately faithful to the RT illustation, I find it serves its purpose quite nicely.

From concept :

Many more pictures and some ghostbusters goodness on the blog

Cheers !
Today I'm giving you some more Helmawr gangers, basically the low rankers (field agents) of the group. I made them quite anonymous on purpose to represent the nameless caharcaters who will probably die first and be replaced fairly rapidly...

With all the basic gangers being unreleased models , the only genuine Helmawr gangers I could afford were the 2 limited editions ^^'

Goodness, I didn't realise you were painting the lovely old Confrontation figures!

Really super work there, and the Helmawr gangers fit right in I think.  :-*

Not that they are much cheaper nowadays, but it struck me when they were released that a fair few Mordheim models looked a bit Confrontation-esque. The Witchunters, Merc Youngbloods, and even the plastic Merc kit (now the Empire Free Company box) are all ripe for a little 40k greebling. Just in case you wanted a few extra options for padding out a gang! :)
