Boadicea Monster Hunter
« on: April 23, 2015, 08:09:49 PM »
Boadicea bane of the Supernatural! She is shown in action defeating the dread Count San Antonio. The figure is from Reaper Miniatures, one of their fantasy pirates. The mini is heavily armed, a brace of swords , a long dagger and I added a holstered pistol to her belt. The fantasy aspect to her costume makes it applicable to a number of periods. I painted her sedately but the fig could be painted to show plenty of skin. It's a tall fig 32mm. The Count is a West Wind figure from The Antagonists line.

I really like WW figures.

They have just the right amount of detail to be a pleasure to paint and display, but not be clogged in unnecesary detail over detail ***cough**GW**cough***.

Yours turned out really well.

And the action shot with the vampire really sets the mood.

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!
