PA Vehicle Build Bits Box Project (Europe)

First of all, if this is in a wrong section of LAF, if mods can kindly transfer this to a proper section, thank you.

LAF had couple of sprue exchange topics going on in the Bazaar section. I happen to have quite a number of some odd bits and pieces of car kits that would need a new home. Rather than trying to sell those I came up with an idea to send those parts on a road trip, hoping to find them new purpose

Idea is to send the box (see below for pics) to a LAF member who builds one PA themed vehicle out of the bits contained in the box, puts some extra bits into the box if he/she has any to spare and then sends the box to the next person on the list. Once the build is finished and painted the finished product is shown for all the LAF and world to see in this thread. That way we all get treated with lots of PA vehicle goodness

Currently there are about 8 different scale car chassis and various bits included, ranging from complete set of 1/35 WW2 VW Beetle to 1/35 WW1 Austrian infrantry heavy weapons etc.

Some guidelines for starters:

- if you want to take part, make sure that you are willing and able to afford to send the parcel onwards to next person (also hopefully you are already an established and trustworthy member here ).
- currently there are 8 vehicle chassis (different scales) and various bits and pieces included in the box but be ready to add armour plating etc from your own bits box. Be prepared to build undersides of the vehicles yourself as there's not that much intact pieces included
- once you are sure that you don't need any bits from the box, send it to the next person on the list and notify them via PM and also in this thread
- once you have finished the build and painted it, remember to post pics here in this thread
- if you have spare bits to include in the box, please do so that the project can continue further than the original 8 or so chassis
- please respond to this thread if interested and lets see if we manage to get enough interest to send the parcel around

This is a great idea!    So if you finish a build, you keep it, but post the painted/finished pictures on LAF so we can all see?  Also, assuming limit 1 per person to ensure that the fun is shared by as many people as possible?

Sadly I am in the States but I hope this idea takes off! I'd love to see what everyone builds.

It seems that you are the only person interested in this, I might need to toss these into a trash bin as I need to clear some storage space.

So, final call for these, soon these bits will be heading for the greener hobby pastures, so to speak.

Mate, I could use some bits if you are going to bin them.

Wont be PA cars, though, more sci-fi speeder types, but can definitely build up from a car chassis.

That's more than ok Paul, sounds awesome already, will be great to see what kind of speeder(s) we are going to be treated with

I could use a car chassis for a PA build But I am also in the States.

The box will be posted tomorrow to Mason, so any further action with the bits will depend on how much he will need those himself I will check once more what I got and add to the contents of the box today.
