Busy making some base model motorbikes for Fenris Games, the idea being that you can customise them for post-apoc gaming. First off the desk will be a generic street bike, think Suzuki Bandit, as the model is loosely based on that bike. Next up will be a generic Moto X bike

That's rather bloody good  8) 8) 8)

Question about the wheel, are they modded from pre-done ones or are they completely from scratch?

Difficult question but when will these be looking at to be going on sale?

cheers

Any chance of a decent superbike too? Personally I'd love to see an Aprillia Mille. (Last bike I had before I gave it up for a more dangerous hobby....wargaming!)

Ok
questions

1) Wheels, are modified from a diecast set, I cut them in half, filed them down, and stuck them together to form a double-sided wheel, then rebuilt the centres.

2) Release date, not sure yet, I hope to have the model finished next week, then its off to Ian at Fenris fro casting, he will them commission some suitable riders, soi don't expect it to be available until the summer.

3) Superbike- yes its a possibility, I have started on a  Suzuki Katana (1980s classic) and expect something fully faired will be built ( that Aprillia is a beautiful bike)

4) working on a Moto X bike as well, basic model that people can add things to.

with the advent of the new Mad Max film, most of my model making will be geared towards producing things that can be used in a Post-Apoc road pursuit game, so expect conversion mods for diecasts, stuff like blowers, full engines, weapons, armour plate etc, plus a few complete vehicle models

If things work out ok, then I will add some more models, just doing a few basics to start with. Post-Apoc roadwar games tend towards 20mm, so its a bit of a gamble for Fenris to try out the larger 28mm stuff
The bike models are just vanilla models, so the conversion possibilities are down to the individual, i will add some conversion packs as we go along, so ratting up your models is all down to your personal taste, lots of great conversion potential, so get hunting for suitable models.
Myself? I am using 1/50th stuff by Hot Wheels, and 1/50th trucks by Corgi, plus any 1/48th vehicles that can be pressed into service. The bike models are 1/50th scale to match the larger heroic scale miniatures, rathe than my normal 1/55th scale stuff  :)

Fantastic. We've been wanting to do some of these for ages as there are so few out there.

Well Uti, as far as I can see, no one does anything remotely like a Lambretta/Vespa, which would fit in very well with the theme of your stuff.

That is bloody brilliant. Would love to see something classic like a 1960s Trumper or a Norton or even something a bit shit like a Bultaco.
