A really tricky one this: one is all about handling bright colour, the other all about handling drabs.  They're very hard to compare.
Back from the dead, almost.

I think they're both superb, in different ways. Well done gentlemen - two of the best entries in the league so far, for my money  :)

Damn this is the type of round we usually see in the last round!

I think they're both superb, in different ways. Well done gentlemen - two of the best entries in the league so far, for my money  :)

I don't know there's another cracker on the other channel too! But this is damn fine stuf!

Prof can you tell us where the minis are from?

Good lord, that's a beauty of an entry, Matt, I'm more than just impressed  :o Good luck on this!

Prof can you tell us where the minis are from?

A wild mix, actually. Copplestone (armed Tibetans, Sherpas in the front of the view, Yaks), Westwind (rearguard Sherpas and the one Yeti with raised claws), Foundry (the adventurer leader), Pulp Figures (the guy betweeen the trees), Monolith Designs (the Yeti statue).

Both entries are fantastic, difficult partly due to the contrast between the two genre and style wise.

But...those Soda Pop minis are highly detailed!! You did great justice to them Dr!!  Nice transitions on the flat surfaces.

Absolutely! Could not agree more! Very different styles, but both handled with great facility....

It's last year all over again- the entry I will spend the most time on paired up with the Professor in top form ;)

That's a great scene all around, impressive painting and setting.  :-*

I have noticed quite a few times the idea mooted that there should be a 'tie' button and while it is after all a vote and a civilized forum at that. To NOT vote seems like a cop out, yet some entried are quite knife-edge.
At the end of the day, both the Dr. and the Prof. contributed (like others) with great honour and skill.

As everybody else mentioned already - two superb scenes in different styles of painting and setup. Beautiful stuff!  :-* :o :-*

When I clicked on the page and saw the Cerci Speed pic, I thought "Ooh, definitely!"

Then I scrolled down, "Ah, bugger me!!"

Tough call.
Wait, I can't let you give me your last eight dollars. Here's five back.
