As many before me, I'm planning to create some small forces of cobras and gi joes for my miniature games.
I will use pulp alley rules, so I will create some pulp alley leagues.
I'm lucky, because I've yet read many old topics about the miniatures or conversions to create a nice force of cobras and gijoes.
Then I will use almost all of these precious suggestions ;)

I yet painted the Cobra Commander miniature from East Riding Miniatures, he will be the leader of course:

As a sidekick I was thinking about the Baroness or Storm Shadow from Reaper Miniatures, still not sure who choice:

however not still convinced about this model. There are some alternatives?

I would like more the RAFM ninja for storm shadow, but it's easier to buy the reaper ninja (No european distributors for RAFM)

maybe major bludd too, but I don'yt know where find a miniature fine for him.

I'm thinking to buy the Victory Force N.E.W. War wehrwolves for my cobra troopers (two squads should be fine):

There is a UK or european shop that sell these miniatures?

Crimson Guards, I'm planning to create two as allies.
Many suggested the victoria lamb torsos, I must only find a nice head for them, here what I'm looking:

Heads:

Maybe there is a better option too?

Torsos, Legs and arms from Victoria Miniatures

arms with gun, I yet have these two.

The G.I. Joes

I will begin with just a small team.
I was thinking about snake eyes and timber, and maybe scarlett too.

snake Eyes from Reaper Miniatures

Timber (one of this wolves from North Star)

Scarlett from Reaper Miniatures?

I want to finish these leagues before the Vinadio Comics event that will be in 25-26 of July.
I should do some pulp alley demos in the Games Area, so I'm thinking to use the Cobra and Gi Joe leagues and wear my Cobra Commander costume while I'm there too (It's a cosplay event too, after all) ;)
I will use the cobra league while wearing the cobra commander costume, while the other player will use the gi joe league, or maybe I will be the military advisor of the cobra player (if there are two players that want to try the game) ;)

ME as COBRA Commander

Hail COBRA!   :D

AWE-sum! :) I like these ideas!

The mini you picked as possible for Baroness - I'm painting one now as a "Not-Black Widow/not SHIELD Agent". She's sexy, but without the spectacles I'm not sure she'll "read" as the Baroness. Perhaps if you find a head with spectacles, and swap? If I see anything, I'll post a link.

I like those heads as Siegies, and the torsos are near-perfect. They remind me of the Siegies from "GI Joe vs. Cobra" from the late 90s-early noughts. That other Reaper female makes a nice Scarlett. :)

Cosplay as well? XD AWE-sum. I'd like to cosplay as Lady Jaye someday.

May I suggest something from the Statuesque Miniatures range for your Cobra sidekick if you're not sure about the reaper one.

I've not found a miniature that could be nice as a cobra sidekick in their website, but this miniature seem perfect for scarlet (but she has not the crossbow):

However I read that the miniature is out of stock.

This looks like a great project.
Maybe you could use some Crooked Dice commandos to make some Action Force characters to support your Joe team.

You could turn that rifle into a crossbow easy file away the rear mag and remove the forward barrel. Drill a hole through the front part and then thread a piece of wire through. Curve or turn the end into circles job done :)

As for ordering from Victory Force $36 is such a small amount and parcel I doubt you'd get picked up by customs the limit is £15 of goods and that comes in around £24 I've ordered from Khurasan plenty of time and had no problems.

Alternatively what about the Westwind SOTR Mechgrenadiers.

I think you could use the separate soviet gasmask heads instead and trim the bottom of the mask and file its smooth or putty over it to get your trooper masks.

I read that the international shipping is 25$, a little too much for just 10 miniatures with a value of 36$ (without considering that the cursed custom office include the shipping cost in the final value), especially now that the change Euro-$ is not so good as in the past  :'(
Seem that Victory Force is trying to sell its moulds, website etc too.  :-X
or I must find a nice alternative for cobra troopers... for now I've seen some crusader germans with MP40, but I'm not sure about them.
The WW mechgrenadiers are really nice, but they have an uniform and armor that it's not typical of the classic cobra trooper :(

meanwhile, I've found this North Star Project X miniature that could be a fine base for a major bludd:

Careful though, project X minis are a larger scale, at 35-40mm.

Maybe I've find a temporary solution. I need some cobra troopers for the Pulp Alley demo games I'm planning at Vinadio Comics in 25-26 July.
Then for now I could just paint some Void VASA Marines I yet have as cobra troopers:

I'm looking at them, and they seem have similarities with the cobra troopers from the cartoon ;)

Maybe just changing the heads (or jut try some easy conversions on the helmet) and add some "braces" with green stuff ;)

so I could have some nice, cheap (because I've yet them) cobra troopers soon and meanwhile find a better choice :D
