As always, I'm slow at painting but can't resist making. Conscious that Junktown is a little light in the food department, I've done a couple of WIPs to fill that gap in the market. Early days, so expect more greebles n' stuff.

The Butcher Shop - this will be open air, as any good food hygiene standards would demand.

And the food store - not sure whether to do the usual rusted tin roof or canvas. Still playing.

It's not big, or clever, but let's do it anyway

Do it canvas. Faded, very faded, stripes that once were bright & gay, but now
tattered torn & patched (with old bunting or flags). covered with a layer of dust & dirt.

By the way if you prefer making to painting, I am sure most of us would be happy to buy
your surplus 'unpainted' stuff.

Oooh! Now there is a thought. I could almost justify my OCD bits box obsession on that basis.  :D :D

That looks great, as usual, - where did you get the chopped up meat etc?

If you are ever short of stuff in the 'Bits box' (& if you are in the UK, because of postage)
I, for one, would be prepared to send you some more from my tiny (enormous really) 'Bits box'
(garage really). Count it against any purchases of your wonderful unpainted creations.

Amazing as always.

A small suggestion would to add some more - lets say exotic foods. Radroach meat and the like.

That’s a great point. I wonder what a rad roach steak looks like. I have sourced a few rats now, but somehow in the spirit of your suggestion, that doesn’t feel nearly exotic enough. Challenge accepted.

My first thought would be to get some of those toy insects like these for instance: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plastic-Toy-Bugs-Insects-Perfect-as-Party-Bag-Bug-Hunting-Parties-/401240636294

And se how fay you could get with them, a knife and some green stuff. It is the post apocalypse where everyone knows bugs are huge.
