Timbor's OGAM - Egyptians up first
« on: 06 July 2015, 03:41:08 AM »
Horus, the patron deity of ancient Egypt, calls forth his most loyal servants.  The false gods of far away nations gather their forces, intent on despoiling the fertile kingdom.  To defend the Nile delta, he summons first his loyal servants from their long rest in the underworld.  Their mortal remains are withered and decayed, but their spirits are strong and their loyalty unwavering!

So I started painting up an Egyptian force for OGAM, here is my armylist for the egyptians:

Gods/Legends:
Horus
Sedja (counts as a Giant Crocodile)
Great Mummy
Generic Hero

Mortals:
Mummies x 4
Egyptian Elite troops x 5
Sherdan Guard x 4

I figured this would be a fun little diversion, regardless of whether I actually get to play the game.  Plus it gives me a good excuse to paint some of the Dark Fable egyptian figures I have amassed.  First up are some 'mummies' (actually skeletal guards) and the Great mummy.

Despite starting Steve Martin's King Tut playing in a loop through my mind, those are SPLENDID minis, BEAUTIFULLY painted. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks, guys.  They were a lot of fun to paint.  The Dark Fable miniatures are just great.
