Lovely, do you know if the FT-17 is much bigger than the old Force of Arms ones? They are about 1/60 and rather small to use with my Gripping Beast Poilu.

I don't actually know how it compares as I've never bothered to scale my work against anyone else. As my design philosophy isn't about anything other than building a model that can be easily repaired (as they will get damaged at some point fact of life)or very simply converted ,and the ability to get multiple looks with out additional parts(not easy lol)
They tend to fit well with most manufactures of miniatures as I treat vehicles as sculpts rather than models so the character of the styling compliments figures rather than the harsh lines of a scale replica that can conflict with the artistic licence which is required to sculpt figures, and play havoc with the scaling and over all feel.
But I don't favour any figure manufactures,it's all down to personal taste. I wish there was a shorter answer, personally use three different manufactures for my units (and my own sculpts)taking the bits from each I like and avoiding the bits that don't work for me.

To be fair though if you see the pics, a ft-17 is not that much bigger than a man side by side, it's surprisingly compact.

I haven't totally forgotten  lol the master is done just haven't given it to Simon and Mick. Earlier this year I downed tools ,As my wife and I ended up doing a spot of emergency fostering, which through everything ot of wack, things got misplaced and forgotten as I tried to catch up with commissioned work and meet deadlines.
But it will be done soon and I'll send you one of my personal castings.

Well colour me surprised! i had no idea you were casting your own(for 1st corps I take it) I was just looking forward to seeing your take on one, I love the style, especially the bases.

And how much for the personal casting? a tin shed gamer designed command ft-17 sounds divine, the only other people that do it are brigade games which has the metal turret or trenchworkz which tbh i'm not sure of i'm wary about 3d printing.

Simon and Mick, cast the range I sculpt it,I only cast  for commissioned projects.I do not cast a piece that's part of or relates to a range I've done for another company . I receive a number of castings as part of the fee for sculpting,it's one of those I'm offering.
It has open hatches and figure, just to make it easier customise .so it's a resin and metal kit.

I picked up a FT17 today at Partizan and will hopefully get it painted over the next few weeks. I'll try to do an 'unboxing' post later.

No it's only a spring. :D
The Ft17 should go together really quickly there's no tricky lining up of joints the ridge on the body slips under the lip on the track unit(try a couple of dry runs as it's not a conventional method of joining a track to the body but it is designed to be re glued after the inevitable drop off the table ((I try to build in pre disaster joints rather than fragile scale model joints)) at first it looks daft, after you've dropped it not so much .its much easier to rebuild when there's no mortise joints to line up.)
If it gives you evil just pm me.
Mark.
