Back From Eternity/Five Came Back great scenario, but what rules?

     One movie was a remake of the other by a few years, both late 40s - early 50s.  The basic plot is that a transpacific passenger plane, (Lockheed Electra or similar), develops engine problems and has to put down on a remote Pacific Island. They discover that they are not alone on the Island, it is inhabited by Cannibals.  Anyway, in making repairs to the plane, the pilot and co-pilot realize that the repaired plane will not carry all the passengers.  There are eight people, including pilot and co-pilot, the usual assortment of B movie sterotypes.  This is a scenario crying out to be gamed, but I'm not sure what rules would work best.  I've been playing a lot of Pulp Alley, but I'm not sure it fits this situation.  Look for either film and give them a watch.  I am open to suggestions.

Definitely sounds like a Pulp Alley adventure story to me.
