It looks like it might be a little over-scale (maybe something like 1/43) - comparing it to pictures of the MoFo Falklands guys, both the barrel and the shroud are too long, and the magazine is too large.

Yeah, it's massively over-scale. It looks to me that it would be at least about 5' 6" long, in the old money, where as the real thing is about 3 3/4 feet long. Mag's a bit ropey too

Nice enough sculpt otherwise, well once he gets a haircut.

I should obviously have looked at the link pics  ::) ... yes, it is too big by far.

As for the long hair, standard issue in NI according to my old man (who still refuses to surrender his period 'tache)...

Indeed that is correct, some latitude was given so as not to look overly military when off-duty...  from a distance at least. Close-up, the poor fashion-sense, the overpowering whiff of Brüt 33 or Old Spice and of course the accents, were a bit of a giveaway.

 ;)

All credit goes to Anton on these.  I pretty much just give him a one line design brief (if that, poor chap) and he works the rest out...

(We'll see how a slightly bigger 'Press' patch works on the chest of the anchor, although there is already a media tag on him.)

No excuse needed for posting lead porn here... indeed we actually encourage it.  ;)

I really like them...

one thing that really made me happy is that the expression of the TV anchor is more on the "why the hell they send me in Troublistan" side of the equation. considering I have developed a strong dislike for media anchors...  it is spot on! lol

The photographer looks a bit like a friend of mine when the was a combat photographer in A'stan... (before that he was an USN bombardier/Navigator on EA-6B over A'stan, then he was one of the editors at Defence IQ in London... now I have been told that ha has been ordained...  :o )
