They are in transit to the UK via various hot spots as we speak. All being well, test casts to be done at the end of this month, which (again all being well) should let us aim for a late October release.

The first packs of ultramodern IDF and [classified...] should be a month or two behind. AU slightly delayed as a result (evidently we manufacturers can suffer 'ooh,  shiny!' too). A 'Wild Geese' line will hopefully appear somewhere before the New Year, still finalising plans and timetable for those as we're bottoming out how to use them as a base for other DPM based options (not BAOR before anyone gets too excited, that's been baggsied by someone else according to another LAF thread).

I think I can do the photographer and the Sound Man with Perry Miniatures LRDG heads but the female and the camera man may be a bit harder.

Looking forward to seeing more of your IDF line once they get in country.

waiting on  the greens:

"Your item has left the destination country's mail centre and is on its way to a local delivery depot

as soon as I have my filthy mitts on them I'll get some comparison photos taken and pack them off to the casters.

in the meantime I've snuck a preview of something else onto our blog (at work currently so can't do a proper post)

Cheers

Oh dear!  :-* :-* :-* Now that's something I really, really do want and the greens look superb. Please tell me you will be doing all the bits necessary to field a platoon? M60s, Dragons etc. I have a lot of use for these.

Oh yes!  lol lol lol

Dragon, M60, M203, M249 and M16s for squad level planned with platoon HQ,
& LAWS. M113 crews eventually.  Happy to take a steer on what is required.

Am going to explore some minor Cold War nations in the spring. and maybe something for Warsaw Pact but someone else may step in there?

Excellent stuff. Might I suggest that you do a pack variant with M16A2 ( the one with the ribbed fore guard). By doing so you will double the potential use of the figures as the USMC were earl(ier) adopters of this variant.  Might be nice to see some additional head variants, if these are separate heads to include the Light Infantry Divisions cabbage patch doll helmet covers and some boonie hats and or the Ranger patrol cap. An M21 sniper rifle would be a nice addition.

If you are taking suggestions for other 1980s period Cold War armies then I'd love to see Swedes and Turks and some Romanians but most of all some Chinese PLA.  :D

I agree with all the things Carlos just added, Grenada, Panama, invasion of Cuba, Cold War gone hot...Now I just need more money.  :?

thanks both.

OK so on my 'to do' list I have variants for Grenada/Panama/Lebanon type settings, so can bring forward boonie hats etc.

one of my wish list plans (ie, may happen but not quite sure how quickly) I have Cold War Gone Hot Near East, so Turkey, maybe Bulgaria or Romania  (haven't done any uniform research yet so not sure how they differ from Soviets), and trying to work out if it's too far fetched to have a Russian special forces raid on the Brit spy bases in Cyprus in order to roll out some appropriate Brits and spetnaz/airborne types.

my wish list is ever growing :)

I would like to see a good range of figures for the Falklands/Malvinas War. On the other hand, I want to buy your press group!
