Claymore French/Genoese Spearmen Greens
« on: October 23, 2015, 03:13:05 PM »
From the Claymore Facebook page : I don't think they've been posted here so far.

Sculpts by Matthew Bickley with another three figures to come to produce two packs of four figures each. When not warring on the continent, I'm confident these sellswords will also find gainful employment in Westeros and other similar fantasy kingdoms.

Them's dead nice! Especially like the clothing wrinkles. And y'know what, I'm looking at that first guy and I'm ridiculously grateful that Matthew Bickley doesn't assume the side of the hand attaches to the arm.

I was waiting for Perry HYW French for ASoIaF, Dragon Rampant shenanigans, but with all the good stuff coming out of Claymore I don't know if I should bother.

Any dog would be willing to sell its current bollocks to acquire bollocks like these...

Those really are top notch, and yes, they really will serve very well for GoT.
Think these might well be the first Claymore Castings I've been tempted into...  :)

That said (and I'm sure this has been asked a gabillion times before, but) any idea how Claymore scale in with Perry?

I can imagine the initial Claymore sculpts by Mr Hicks would be a pretty good fit. But knowing Matthew's sculpting work for Boot Hill, I wonder if these might be a bit on the chunky side to sit alongside the Perry WOTR/HYW ranges?

My dog took one look at 'em then at me and high tailed it over the fence.

@ The Cpatain, I'm with you sport. It looks like I will be sending my first order to Claymore castings...

You'd be surprised Richard. Matts sculpts for claymore are much slighter than his boothill work and sit alongside Mr. Hicks work very easily.

To be honest they are actually a touch slighter than the plastic Agincourt set.

And date I say it, nicer.. (runs for cover)..  :o
