Hot Wheels Quicksand
« on: November 01, 2015, 07:00:26 PM »
When I saw this.......
I knew instantly I needed a "Support Vehicle" for the team that I had created :)
Since I produce the "sets" for the Wheels, Weapons, and Detail items......
I knew that I had what I needed.....but....
Having a Metal Body created "more than" a few issues for my needs  Smiley
This took a lot of work.

It started out like this:

this is the end result:

First I (of course) drilled out the rivets.......
and changed the wheels.......
this was simple enough........
the wheels I settled on....
were the ones I made for a Jeep project that I am still working on.
but I decided....
That I wanted to have a support container on the rear.....
this required me to remove the whole section where HW designed the engine.
So.... removing the engine means needing a new engine and engine location.
I decided to add it to the front.....
And I decide to use the engine from the HW Metrorail......
I have since molded and cast these engines as I need them :)

then I added the container

Here it is all assembled

Here it is all painted

Please tell me what you think........
this is the fourth of my posts for these vehicles.
I will also post links to my wheels, weapons and parts
There\'s a reason why one side of a Claymore  is marked,
\"Front Toward Enemy\".

Nice military feel with this one, especially the back cargo area.  8)
