Setting the mood for Dark Age games..?
« on: 08 November 2015, 11:21:16 PM »
I recently became aware of this:

http://www.wardruna.com/

as some of the musicians played at the 'Nordisk Råds Prisuddeling 2015' (I think it was). I Liked it, and I think it would make excellent 'backdrop music' for at least games involving Vikings!  :)

Aren't they the ones who do a lot of the background-type music for the History Channel Vikings series?

I dont know about the rest but the main music is from Fever Ray.

Do you know Corvus Corax?
Very nice music, at least most albuns.

Also Two Steps from Hell have some very nice albuns but more for the fantasy type.

Following them on Facebook, although I've never experienced them live.

If so, at least one good thing came from it... I swear, I saw renaissance helmets on some of those 'saxon cavalrymen'.  ::)

Phew, thought this might be about scattering pig shit and straw around your gaming room. Carry on.
