Small update with lousy phone pictures. First time using Humbrol spray paints!
Grey Primer
+ points: very good coverage in a couple of passes; doesn't have a very active smell - I used a mask anyway; fast drying time
- points: the can leaked from its lower seams even without being used and stored in a controlled environment - the only spray cans that do that are usually Chinese ones...
Black Gloss
+ points: once again, very good coverage and not a very active smell; fast drying time (but it takes 30 minutes for it to turn really glossy)
- points: none

Green Multi-Effect (word of warning: I got this can at a discount bin - it was intact, with no leakage - but all Humbrol Multi-Effect were heavily discounted. My problems could be an effect of a defective can)
+ points: fast drying time; really self-levels after drying.
- points: it takes some passes to build up the layers and to get the metallic sheen you see on the cover of the can; the smell of the spray is pretty intense and it lingers for a couple of hours even in well-ventilated area.

Tomorrow I'll break out the brushes and acrylics to detail the bird and I'll take proper pictures once it's done. But in the overall, I was very pleased with the Humbrol spray paints. The multi-effect was a bit of a pain to apply but the effect is damn nice with the right light on.
