I played my first game of Dragon Rampant yesterday with my kids. We played the "Death Chase" scenario wiht Elves ambushing and Orc War Party that's been rampaging around their lands. Report and lots of pictures can be found here:

Thank everyone!

Though it started out looking like it would be a cakewalk for the boy and his Orcs, ultimately the girl and her elves eventually won - and it was a pretty crushing defeat!

Looks a cracking game! Who makes those wolfriders?

I think they were from Old Glory Minatures...?

yeah, here they are:

Good game report with some very nice models.

I have to say, both players seem to have had some terrible luck with their roles. My first game is recorded here

http://wargamestuff.blogspot.co.uk/2016/01/a-brief-interlude-for-dragon-rampant.html

I only lost two turns in total because of failed activations. As you need 5s, 6s and 7s, the odds are generally in your favour. That said, an army with a lot of missile troops is at a bit of disadvantage on this front as they tend to need higher rolls to activate.

There was some pretty terrible dice rolls. Perhaps I should have kept track of what the rolls were... for interests sake - just to see the spread and how high above or below average they were...?
