OMG, from where did the 'beastie' come? :o I think the sculpt is genius!

If I had it around, I'd never take my eyes off of it, and only partially because I was impressed, and partially afraid it might be stalking me!

*ahem* Sorry, rest of the work is very impressive, though I think I like the agents, especially the first, best.

It's an old Rackham mini, the "Aberration Prime" ;)

Very well done

Doug, I like the beast a lot as well :D And yes, he/it is kind of scary... that's why it's surrounded by other minis with guns currently ;)

Thanks Comsquare, I didn't remember the original source of the beast anymore, shame on me  :-I

edit: And thanks for liking them :)

Ah, so yours is a first edition, which seems to run from large money to CRAZY money. Hope you cherish as I would.  lol

I shall now go back to eBay, and look longingly.

Nice work on that SM.

In terms of good rules for skirmish 40K, people seem to enjoy "In the Emperor's Name".

Until I scare myself with cross-briny shippage, of course.   ;)

No, wait, 5 Euros ANYWHERE? Not scared, just freaking, a bit.  :o

Feedback more than welcomed, especially keen to hear about good rules for skirmish 40K.

Great choices with the additions, mate, and the truescale marine looks spot on.
For 40k skirmish we have been using the Necromunda rules with just a couple of tweaks (mainly no ammo rolls and not having to have friendlies within 2'' to escape pinning if you are 'experienced').
It works for us.

Thank you good sirs for the comments and rules suggestions, sadly I have let go of my copy of Necromunda rules some years ago :( Need to look into ITEN more closely, it seems.

Here's the latest addition. Will need to finish the four "truescale" marines and then start to splash some paint on the minis, that's the scary part. The dreadnought had a head replacement, the new one is from GK terminator set. The pose is the regular one, looks a bit sissy, not a menacing dreadnought I would like it to be  :-I

Good I'm not the only one who thinks the head on the normal model sucks.  I do plan on adding stuff to mine to make it a bit more sinister...looks a bit...weird.

@Elbows: will be great to see you tackle the "sissy" dreadnought :)

Now mine looks like it is almost sneaking around on its toes  :( Dunno what I could add to it to make it more dreadnought though... more skulls?  lol

I think it looks fine. Maybe an ork or something crushed in half by one of its feet?

I really like the trend for smaller more flavourful 40K stuff on here of late. If you want more narrative and objective focused games you might take a look at pulp alley, its quite popular for 40k on here it seems. (I'm considering doing this myself)
