Well if anyone else wants to join in on this paintathon you are more than welcome. That way I am not the only one to be completely humiliated.

Too late for me, my Mycenaeans are all painted (rare occasion to say that). But I support any initiative to make this a joint venture. :)

Nice project guys, what changes are you making to LR and are you going to share them?

We are going to use the version published in Wargames Soldiers and Strategy issue 82 "Chariots Rampant". It has rules for chariots, new boasts, sample retinues and other stuff.

This is just to document that I am still in this race. 4 bidowers and 8 spearmen are now completed.

Better and more pics tomorrow when there is some propper light.

The cowsskin shields are from an ancient breed of Greek cattle now extinct. (Or it might be that I don't really know how cows look like and that I certainly cannot paint them.)

This thread has got me digging out my long stalled Trojan project and slapping on some paint. Bit undecided re basing though. All the figures I have dpne previously are based for DBA and Lion Rampant seems to insist on individual basing.

You don't need individual basing - just a means of marking casualties (a dice will do).
Units fight as a whole in LR, so you really don't need figures to be based singly.

What are you complaining about. As fare as I can tell you are ahead at the moment.

But dont worry though. It turned out that hangovers from Manowar concert was the perfect thing for painting. More to come later this week.

Well here is the latest addition to my Trojan force. Heroes swell the ranks as well as NAKED skirmishers  :-*!

The two charging blokes are from the right Aeneas and Hector. I have Hector in his chariot as well and plan on using him as my general.

Hope you all enjoy and have a nice weekend all of you

You are really piling in the pressure! I am away from my paintbrushes all weekend.

I take solace in the fact that I do not have to sit an put highlights on all those Greek wangs.. Or do the "manscaping"..

They look great though.
