what size foam core are you using for these? Your table looks amazing

If I were to hazard a guess, the terrain was probably made from the standard, 1/4" (or thereabout) thickness.  Probably the type you would find at a Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

In what order do you glue/cut the pieces?

I would imagine that you glued one paper sheet to the foamcore before cutting, but did you find it better to glue the rear sheet on before or after cutting?

Thanks!

The stuff I put together is on standard foam core, just like at Hobby Lobby. 5mm?

The models are from Davesgames.net  It directs you to wargamevault/rpgnow.

I add the second side after I have cut the piece out.

Many of Daves models are great. He has a few free samples available too, see - http://www.davesgames.net/

Also available now are some new sci-fi battle maps.

Hello all,

please find bellow my 1st frostgrave paper terraintest bits. I like how they turned out and plan to do a hole tables worth.

Up until now I haven't had the balls to add snow to mine. After seeing how well yours turned out, I may have to give it a test run. What's the recipe, if I may ask?

These just different ruin buildings you picked up? I was hoping it was one of the sets they have to buy all at once.

You can buy them as a bundle, under $20.

The snow is 4GROUND Snow Static Grass. Glued on with PVA , still trying out ways to seal it.

the formcore is just standard stuff bought from the local art store.

I rough cut the parts glue that to the formcore then cut the part out. Then I glue the other side on and trim the paper down.

Those look excellent.  i have used some of these just build with card, and altered so they fold flat for transport, but yous look much sturdier and more like buildings

Did you have to modify the print sizes at all to account for the extra width of the foam core?

Those paper ruins look awesome!  Apply them to foamcore really makes them pop.. they look almost like 4ground stuff :)

I'd be making paper ruins if I hadn't already started on all the other stone grey terrain I've built already.
