The special forces looks like a great starting point for stalkers. I really hope the arms are less of a hassle than their indian and survivor kits.

I imagine wargames factory will re sculpt the male zombies , sine it was their first kit and my god does it show! Remember, they do the sculpting/casting for malifuax and dreamforge, so they know their stuff now.
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

Absolutely will buy this, Warlord know their stuff and this is a winner...don't care about the bikers but the modern troops look amazing. Also Wargames Illustrated have done an online review and the male zombies look so much better. I hope that the rules are simple..just warp drive and world peace to tick off the list now?

"Plus you may have seen the old plastic Male Zombies before but you haven;t seen them looking this good! Yes, the sprue has been re-designed to create more ‘attractive’ zombies, allowing you to field a more realistic horde of shambling undead."

Told ya! ;D

I have a couple of packs of the old male zombies, and they are pretty bad. Replacements were long overdue.

I'll definitely be picking up some of those military and biker sprues, probably the rules as well. Hopefully the deal they're doing at Salute will be available at other shows during the year ???

It was mentioned over on the Mantic Walking Dead thread, but the playtest rules are available from Mantic - link

For some reason you have to get them through their shop (£0.00), so you'll need an account. I'll grab them at some point for a read, as the overview of them looked quite interesting.

Hello,

is there any place where one can read a little more about the rules? The Warlord Website doesn't provide much information or maybe i'm just to blind to see it.

Thanks.

I like the fact they remastered the sprues, the zombies look WAY better like the hospital gown and the cop for example and they merged the male and female zombie sets together.

Oddly, the Male and Female survivor sets were not merged...even the Biker gang is mixed genders and appears SpecOps does not recruit female soldiers.  lol

I have the city table from Games and Gears and a fair amount of city related scenery and cars that I was building up for Supersystem, now I got another excuse to start on scenery. I wanted a few more items to round out the city. Plus from the other games I have we can pretty much make anything from an airport, woodlands, snowed in wooded areas, farm or anything else really.
