Looking great such an astounding amount of nice details and features! Would you mind sharing some more information about the tile making and the casting as it looks very interesting?

That corrected, is the finished tile sturdy enough to survive wargaming?

Yes.. they are surprisingly sturdy.. They have a bottom of blue-foam (as can be seen on one of the pics and the top surface gets a bit of strength (and texture) from the thin red crust of casting sand stuck in the foam.  

With the air game (In Clouds of Glory) we stick the needles in the end of the flight rods directly into the foam terrain.

But I am currently also working on a WWI late war (1917-18) microarmor set-up using the boards.. Ruleset modified from either Landships! or a unofficial WWI conversion of Big Chain of Command.
