lol Tactalvanic it seems you were right. Oh well, no biggy, plenty of other cool toys out there to buy.

Will be interesting to see what happens now though, surely a redesign is needed for any chance to sell to a mass market.

It wasn't me. Honest. This big monkey did it and ran off.

According to their facebook page they are going to make real looking armour girls now.

Now those might interest me pretty good SOB proxies if they are fully armoured.

I would specifically use the word "real" in this particular context :P

Anyhow, here's the actual entry about "PG13 edition", and with some closer up demon pictures too.

Which is why I was a little surprised with the route they went originally. SoB is one of the most neglected armies in 40K (hasn't been updated in...what 10 years?).  There are still plenty of die-hard SoB players who would probably jump on a project like this if it had better Battle Sister proxies.  It seemed like a no brainer to me.

I love the spin Prodos put on that post though.  "Demand for the game to be more accessible to younger audiences...".  I doubt that's how the emails were worded. lol

They should have just left the space babes and renamed the whole thing... "Three-breasted Space Vixens from Eroticon VIII" or something. Better than to drag the Space Crusafe name through the dirt. I also can't remember WarZone getting the same kind of "treatment" from them, even though the Brotherhood all-female Cardinal Guard and the Bauhaus Etoiles Mourantes would have been perfect targets  ::)

One thing Prodos normally do well is minis. These are a bit poor by their normal standard.

You are right, but I think in this case it's down to a stylistic choice. They have decided to go for a cartoony look, instead of the more realistic one they've used in Warzone or AvP.
Also, the bright colours don't help. I wonder how they'd look like with a more muted paintjob.
