When the zeds come, I'm raiding the tea shop first thing after I make a nice pot. Then we can sort out some weapons and food.

'chai' should be interpreted as a generic term for tea, however in today's world it has become synonymous with the (yummy) milky infusion of tea, cardamom & other spices that is Masala Chai.
A Chai Wallah can be a good friend in hard times. I miss the old Haji who made tea for me every morning back in Singapore. 
Such good tea...

A Chav is, well, someone who probably won't be painting much lead this year. Although I could be wrong on this account. If they did paint, then I think they wouldn't be much of a Chav in the first place.
