In 1936, for the military women in the Red Army been introduced a special form of clothing.
In summer uniform was supposed to be: beret khaki or dark blue, khaki tunic, skirt dark blue, black stockings (wearing optional), black boots or shoes.
Also permitted to wear: cape-coat army type, the skin black coat or jacket, a white tunic and a white beret (wearing out of order).
Beret was allowed to replace other army hats.
August 3, 1941 introduced uniform for of military women with non-combatant command staff positions. The outfit consisted of a khaki beret, coats and women's dress khaki.
