@Hu Rhu - warlord games
@Flags-of-war  -  I've got a unit of dragoons nearly ready. Once finished I'll have 3 divisions (battalias) ready, so a pict of the whole army would be in order-that's a promise! :D

Finished the dragoons - Tilly's dragoons raised in 1603, well before the TYW. The flag shows Emperor Matthias' monogram instead of Ferdinand's and on the other side St Michael slaying the devil. The cornet may seem as doing weightlifting but the model does have sculpted a socket attached to a leather strap to hold the lance-standard. 2 years ago I had done a unit but wasn't really good looking so kept the standard bearer and added new troops.

To keep a promise, I also took some picts of the army so far arrayed for battle. You might notice some units not included - they deserted! lol Note my photographic skills are abysmal at best..........

Nice painting on those dragoons.  That's quite a collection you have amassed so far.

Nice work. You have some great looking units there.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Cheers guys  :D

Green is a colour is tend to avoid. However, I had seen a green flag with a gold cross under the motto IN HOC SIGNO VINCES years ago and was intrigued. So after 'pestering'  lol flagsofwar, he made it for me. I managed to make it as if the ensign is waving the flag. To match it I used a green flag with the Jesuit symbol. The unit, I realised, is the first infantry unit I have that doesn't feature a Burgundian Satire. I'll use them as commanded shot, the officers and flags to distinguish the unit from regular musketeers.
