Deep-Cut Studio Gaming Mat Review
« on: March 23, 2016, 05:31:36 PM »

http://yarkshiregamer.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/deep-cut-studio-darkwater-and-plains.html

Hi everyone,

I have jumped on the gaming mat train and gone to the end of the line.

Having now switched completely to these as a ground sheet for my gaming activities I have put together a little review of Deep-Cut Studios products for you information. I think these add a great deal visually to a game. We have come a long way from my youth when I would beg my mother for dark green curtains which then went "missing".

Love mine, top quality, very reasonable price and wonderfully done - prefer it to the others I've seen thus far.

Very timely. I have been looking at their 6x4' space mats for larger X-wing games. I have a 3x3' neoprene one I got from Chaos Cards that is excellent so the Deep Cut Studios mousemat version is probably very similar. I was a little worried that the vinyl mats would be difficult to flatten out and the cloth ones would crease, but apparently you can iron them?

Yep, you can definitely iron them because I have !

Hanging them up works well as the gravity works it's own magic. My Plains mats have been on the table for a few weeks with the SCW games and have flattened completely.

I plan to leave them on the table permanently and rotate them round as I use them.
