Daredevil is a great show.
I'm currently watching season 2 and I really like how Marvel is managing their cinematic and TV world.
Unlike DC, both TV and movie heroes evolve in the same world which is pretty cool.

Finished it this weekend and loved it.
I'm a huge comicbook nerd and DD is the best superhero series I've ever seen, followed closely by Jessica Jones.

Can't wait to see what they'll do with the rest (Luke Cage, Iron fist, Punisher?).

I'll watch/read/play pretty much anything superheroes, even if it's crap (I've seen Dawn of Justice twice already) and Daredevil is one of my favourite heroes, so I may not seem like the best judge, but putting my "Film and Television" graduate hat on for a moment;

Daredevil and Jessica Jones are some of the tightest-written, smartest and best produced television I've ever seen out of the USA. I'd rank them with Twin Peaks and M*A*S*H in terms of quality. They're the best representations of "street-level" heroes since the '90s Batman cartoon. There are no clashing gods bringing down entire cities in their battle, just people beating the hell out of each other. At the same time, the creators have somehow managed to make them feel like part of the broader MCU. When Infinity War hits, I'll have no problem believing that Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage will step up to defend the universe from the mad Titian.

Gah.... Now Knight Models are getting into the marvel universe it's probably only a matter of time before I cave in and start a new game system.
Those are some lovely mini's....

Have to chime in too.

I loved Daredevil S1 and 2 was even better to me.

Same for miss Jones. I can only recommend These series.
If they keep up the pace with the upcoming Cage and then the Defenders all is fine.

It is also a very nice gritty contrast to the teenage oriented Flash, Arrow, Supergirl series. These are more like a Superhero telenovela and way to shiny for my taste, I still watch them, but most of the time at 2x Speed...  ;)

And since the Punisher was so well received a stand alone series seems very likely!

I like him even more than Elektra and Matt!
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

Watching Season 2 of DD now, I have watched S1 twice. The second round with my wife, who saw posts about it and got interested. She hated the DD movie (we went on Valentine's day back when came out). We are both slowly watching Season 2 (she cannot binge like I can). She loves Daredevil and seems to also have a liking for the Punisher (loved the movie also). She also loves Deadpool (which may be the best Marvel movie to date).

Netflix has hit a good start, my wife also liked Jessica Jones but failed to understand the layers of depth of the series that the comic was focused on. She is looking forward to JJS2 also. Next up Power Man and Iron Fist, then the Defenders....now with the tease of the Punisher and I heard rumors of an Xmen spin off.

DC is still trying to find their niche, they have done ok with Arrow and Flash, it was a slow boil to get them going and developed. Supergirl may not make a second season (based on what I am reading about renewals so far). Legends has oddly became my favorite of the DCs.

Luke Cage series? That's nice. He's not quite invulnerable though, you know, Jessica was able to knock him out shooting in the head.

I believe invulnerable when it comes to Luke Cage has to do with piercing/cutting thru his skin.  The impact of the bullet hitting his head may have been enough to put him into an unconscious state(I didn't watch the show yet...)?  He is still susceptible to being injured(especially internally) when hit by something with enough force.  This comes to be an issue for him in comics(somewhere) when he has internal damage and docs can't get thru his skin.

I think I may have to sit down and watch.  This Hell's Kitchen stuff has an environ more akin to Gotham/DC stuff.  Very dirty and gritty from the Comics.

*sigh*  Adding it to the list of shows to watch!  I actually just watched the first two episodes of Daredevil after work yesterday...  I am a fan for sure.  I like seeing the good guy get his lickings as well as giving them!  Very nicely done!
