Zaruk's random fantasy, starting with Orcs
« on: May 02, 2016, 07:22:17 PM »
Ok so first proper post :)
My plan is to post up models as and when I finish them using this to motivate me, who knows there might even be a game report eventually. These are the first models I have painted in quite a while.

Full regiment so far

Shaman

Couple of warriors

converted javelin armed orc

musician and my attempt at an old school banner.

These have just got to have the bases finished and then matt varnished.
I did learn that my ink is not water proof so of cause it smudged whilst varnishing the models :( oh well.
Any Comments, advice or criticism welcome.

Classic orcs love. Bonus points for not painting them in radiactive greens.
The banner freehand is amazing.

Thank you Reed.

And here is todays output, still have the base to finish and needs varnishing.

My plan is to use this model as Zaruk Loreseeker himself, once I received the model and saw the size of it I came up with this little back story.

Zaruk was once a great shamans apprentice, this was until he started getting ideas above his station, consequently he was kicked out of his tribe and was lucky to escape with his life. After this he vowed his revenge and called upon the mighty gods Gork and Mork to help him become the greatest orc shaman alive. Well he got his wish, just not what he was expecting as now after every time he learns a new spell he grows a few more inches.

once again any Comments, advice or criticism welcome.
