Nicely done. I picked up one of these at Salute and was looking for inspiration as to how to base and paint it.

Beautiful piece. The browns are a nice alternative to the common rendition of it.

Bit more progress on the AWI brick house.
Doors and windows now attached, as well as the porch - which needs shingles adding.
The walled garden has brick paper added and just needs landscaping with grass and plants etc.
The garden base and the house will remain as separate pieces, to provide maximum options re gaming.



Final shots along quite soon I hope.
thanks for all the kind words - I'm not an expert terrain builder and have learnt a lot from tackling this.

I think I would just have made the outer wall a bit lower to be at "musket rest" height

Hmm, good point on the walls - I've really based it on the high garden wall that at the Yorktown Customs House.

Whilst I await new order of shingles from USA, here's handful of rebel riflemen (all Perry metals) which were in the metal mountain.
