Oldhammer Terrain for Frostgrave
« on: May 28, 2016, 06:00:44 PM »
The wonders of Ebay have provided most of my Frostgrave Terrain.
Gardens of Morr - GW Graveyard.
The Blue Roses are Frost Roses and will feature in a upcoming scenario that I am writing.

3x Walls and a Gate section + 3x sets of iron rails

Painted Walls and railings

Statue and three tombs / mausoleums

Painted Statue - 28mm Barbarian for scale

These can also be seperated from their base plates, making three buildings and three sets of "rough ground".

Put together as one item - a bit crowded for Frostgrave, much better spread out.

The ancient GW Chaos Tower
Repainted my ruined tower, black undercoat, Dawnstone dry-brush and then highlighted with white to pick it out.
Barbarian and Templar for scale

All the terrain and few other items re-purposed and dusted off

Pray hard but pray with care

I consider the Garden of Morr to be one of the best terrain sets out there, and you have painted them wonderfully.  It's sad that the Garden of Morr could be considered "Oldhammer" at this point.

Great stuff Steve.  Looking forward to seeing it in action when the campaign gets up and running.

I really like the way you've painted the wood. The grain really stands out. The stonework is great as well, just the right amount of shade and contrast.

He is from Heresy Minatures, know as Mullet the Barbarian

Some of the best Barbarian Miniatures I have found so far; especially Boris in his many guises
