Brilliant work - these figures are very tempting even though I have no use for them at all!

Can I ask what the crystal like scenic bits are? They look pretty effective in the setting

Thanks for the comments all!

Can I ask what the crystal like scenic bits are? They look pretty effective in the setting

The crystals are plastic icicle Christmas tree ornaments from the 'Dollar Tree' store , end cut off and glued to a masonite base, then some various hirst arts cast pieces and joint compound for texture.

I thought I had a pic or two of just the crystals, I'll try to dig them up.

Lovely work. Makes me very nostalgic for Flash Gordon on bbc2 on a Saturday morning.

Brilliant work - these figures are very tempting even though I have no use for them at all!
Try as I might, I just don't understand the words in this sentence , particularly the last 8.  :D

I've had these painted for several weeks but the manufacturer, Hydra Miniatures, wasn't ready to announce them. They should be up for sale on their webstore soon. They are Empire of Marduk soldiers from the Retro Raygun range.

Given my level of lack of talent, hardly worth mentioning after the stellar lights' approbation, but, quite simply, jaw dropping work, lad.
