#39 Chinese General (Pulp)

I painted this guy in more Imperial Chinese getup than a republican/warlord uniform thinking that it would suggest he has some pretty big ambitions going on there. Either that or he is something of an 'old school' sort of chap hankering for the 'good old days' of imperial rule.  Half-cape inspired by Captain Phasma.

Nice entries Steve and Muzfish! I didn't remember that particular Chinese General, good job. Xiang Lung is stunning.  One of the old sayings on LAF, started by Hammers if I recall correctly, is that everything is better with monkeys and bacon. All Xiang Lung needs is a bacon sandwich and he is pretty much perfect! :D

Two fine entries!  :)

I shall see if I can get my garden project rounded off and dig out another appropriate model for this esteemed club - I may have some primed chinese models kicking around in a figure case or some unprepped ones in a box with pulp/interwar figures somewhere  ::)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Thanks for the kind words chaps.

I'm afraid my skill at photographing miniatures is pretty limited.  Does anyone have any suggestions for ways I could improve?

No 38 ....my favourite up to now. Not only because its beautifull painted. Its mainly because I havent seen that mini before and the way it is painted and presented it tells its own story.
Very well done. Love it

I need to do something else with that whip though. I think I'll try bending it into something a little shorter.
