Lovely paint job on characterful figures, but the billman must have quite a neck under that turned down hood.

I saw these on facebook the other day. They're absolutely lovely both in terms of sculpt and painting. Some of the best figures I've seen for a good while.

Lovely paint jobs! I am intrigued by the game. A thieves guilds vs guards of some sort of game would be kind of cool. Not that I know what the game is about. But its what popped into my head!

The working title is 'The Shadows', and we just shelved the 0.1 version as we need to rethink a lot of stuff. I think it'll be ready early/mid next year.  :)

I can also confirm that these are the sort of models that just beg to be painted and the sculptor seems to have created them simply for this purpose. They have simple, clean lines and great proportions. I suspect they would be as satisfying to cram with intricate detail as they would be to do a simple bit of block colour and a wash. The deep contours will see to that. A real joy to massage with the brush.

Sounds intriguing! I wish you luck with it and certainly shall look forward to seeing what miniatures are in it.

We're toying with a system of interchangeable parts - the arms are made with guards in mind, the heads with the coif are pretty generic.

Interchangeable for extra variety and conversion potential sounds great.

Will these be resin or metal figures when released?

Not sure - Resin is more expensive after all.
