Hexing a game table

I have put up an information page on how many hexes are needed per table size and included a video that discusses the nature of hexes and some of their advantages.

A handy and interesting article. I am planning a GHQ Terrain Maker hex based table, a mix of their hexes, and area hexes cut from my own foam. I have very limited space - so your article is good in that it gives guidance on what factors to consider re space.

I'm still dreaming about installing a laser projector on the ceiling over my table and projecting hexes, squares and/or playing field borders over my existing terrain and boards as and whenever I please... ::)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...
