Scotia Grendel Void 1.1. Junkers

Has anyone had any experience with the plastic Junkers from Scotia Grendel's Void 1.1. They seem nice enough miniatures and good value but was wondering if anyone had seen any in the flesh and had any thoughts on them.

I had them many moons ago when I-kore released the box set.  They were nice enough...detail is soft but not terrible (in my view) and the variety was limited. 

If they are cheap and you have a use for them, I don't think you will be disappointed with them.

Same advice here.  If you can get some sprues for under a $1 a figure, go for it.  I bought the game box back in the day with the plastic Viridians and Junkers.  The junkers definitely out-shinded the bell bottomed, punkin' head viridians. 

The poses out of the box are pretty limited, but if you're not afraid of conversion work you can stretch them farther.  Although the detail's soft, they were well cast with no offsets and little flash.  They've also got the same "heroic" proportions you'd find on GW kits of the day.

I bought some a while ago, with the idea that I would be converting them to Storm Commandoes for my Warmachine Khador army.

Never got to it though, as I found them to be less of a match in the plastic. They're multipart, but their posability is still limited due to the shields and weapons forcing one to glue them into only a few possible poses.

Still; they're nice miniatures, especially for the money.

For a moment though, I thought you were referring to these Warzone minis, of which I got a boat load for nearly nothing a few years ago. They're also not very varied, but can be made into some interesting variant poses with only a little work.

For some reason, I always seem to confuse Void and Warzone...
