Oldhammer Albion
« on: October 19, 2016, 01:10:15 AM »
These are some of the figures for my new campaign, it's kind of Oldhammer/Frostgravy/SOBH.
These are Celtos undead with a Mirilton undead barbarian, I saw some on ebay painted in a bluegray color scheme instead of the usual green.

you might be able to see the woad tattoos a little better

My wizards for Frostgrave, necromancers

and some heroes, a Celtos Geal, Reaper gnome barbarian and two Renegade mythic kelts

A Sidhe elf chieftain

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

The idea is similar to the Warhammer Albion, an island cut off from the rest of the world peopled by the decedents of a once powerful but long destroyed empire. As the mists clear warbands venture onto the island looking for lost magical lore and treasure.
Geals make up the highlanders, Celts their lowland cousins, Reaper and Mirilton fur clad barbarians live along the coast, ship wrecked Vikings basically.

I like it. But I am biased, since the ALbion setting (and in particular the freaky giants) just work for me. Nice mix of minis too.
