Flintloque minis are in the "would-love-to-do-but-can't find" category for moi. You did a FINE job bringing yours to life: great brushwork & lovely basing. VERY WELL DONE!
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Fantastic work, I absoloutely love the Albion Guards models, they are really huge!!!

I like your conversion too, with the soft hat. Very nice indeed.

The colours are very bright and vibrant and everything is tip top!

More of this please.  :D

Yep, two Flintloque postings at the top. I am so very happy. I painted those minis last month although I treasonously do my orcs as green skins. I'll say that yours turned out much more lovely than my own honestly.

There is much love for the artillerie pistol and the taunting of the hole through the shako. Of course, with my rolling during Flintloque the musket ball hole would likely be self inflicted.

I hope you don't mind a couple of questions.
Where do you get you Flintlogue minis?
AND
Where in Texas are you holed up?

My original Flintloque minis were from the Great Bear liquidation sale of Canada in like 2004. I bought a shedload and it only took six years to finally have a regular monthly group. These days I either order direct from Alternative Armies or from Karl at http://gypseegames.com/
Karl has started getting the site back together but I think orders are still kind of an email him and he'll get everything sorted kind of thing.

I'm in the Midcities. That's between Dallas and Ft. Worth for out of towners. See, wargamers in Ft. Worth won't go to Dallas and Dallas gamers won't go to Ft. Worth and maybe, just maybe, they might go to the Midcities. But not usually.  lol

NEVER EVER, EVER WORRY ABOUT THAT!

More flintloque collectors can only be a good thing and after following your fantasy thread, I believe it is just your thing!  :)

AA, even though they are based in Scotland, are very good to customers wherever you may be from. Gavin told me at Salute this year that even though he has never met Bob Menadeo, an American rules developer for AA, he still feels like a close friend.  :)

They really are very cool minis; the caricature, fantasy approach to Napoleonics appeals to moi...I can see the die-hard "historical" types going into a terminal case of the Deep Purple Horrors. VERY WELL DONE!
