Saw this a while back and it's one of the very few mdf kits that I like.

Most sci-fi mdf kits have a certain simplistic 'brutalism' to them, not very fitting for the Star Wars universe, or other settings making excessive use of fiddly designs in their aesthetics, but the guy (guys?) at Miniature Scenery seem(s) to have found the key to softer designs (also note the 'Space Elves' flyers/vehicles (curvy green pointy things) recently posted on their FB page).

The only thing I'm not sure on is the cockpit!

I've had my eye on a lot of their stuff recently. They have a really nice sci fi table set-up I like a lot. I'm even using it for inspiration for my own sci-fi table. The trucks cool too....

I don't think we have seen the finished version, yet. It should come with full interiors. How they are going to do the 'windshield'/tip I don't know.

it's one of the very few mdf kits that I like.

I feel exactly the same way.  There's so few MDF kits that don't immediately look like an MDF puzzle which is an aesthetic I really do not like.  This one is particularly nice.
