Hi guys, not commented in a while, work has been off the scale. my wife however has been a legend and got me this for xmas:
http://www.manticgames.com/mantic-shop/the-walking-dead/product/the-walking-dead-all-out-war-give-me-everything-bundle.htmlMega right!?
Anyways. As time goes on I'm finding it harder and harder to get games in, luckily this system has a solo play.
I want to blog my solo campaign, painting and ideas for house rules etc. And play scenarios as close to the comic 'canon' as possible, but was wondering if anyone has any ideas to facilitate a more involved campaign. My current ideas are:
Start with Morgan and Duane. Surviving in Cythania. Scenario will end with them finding Rick. From that point on I intend to map rick's travels up until Herschel's farm (as that is where the model range runs out of steam) But depending on fun and momentum; I may end up proxying beyond that.
Campaign mechanics I want to use:
Canon points: I think each character will have either a positive or negative modifier of sorts, depending if they are 'supposed' to live/ die at certain points. Making it harder to kill main characters for good. God forbid I loose the whole group in one swoop, would make for a shitty blog

.
Human AI: obviously the walkers are AI, but there will be times where I have to engage with people/ enemies. Currently I envisage a 'chess' scenario, where I literally try to defeat myself, with no bias....Any ideas?
All in all I look forward to playing it, the game is smooth, with quite good tension and minor RP/ character dev.
But I am open to any house rules ideas anyone has come up with?
Jay.
