Miscast Mini?
« on: 14 January 2017, 01:19:22 PM »
Bought an order off brigade games there for war of 1812 it has arrived and results are...mixed, i'm seeing lots of bent weapon barrels/bayonets and flash to clean up mostly among the minis in loose baggies instead of padded jewelry boxes.

One mini in particular i'm wondering is he miscast or are my eyes just playing tricks on me, he's the Indian department officer and his sword looks a little shorter than the official pic, should I sen him back when I request the rest of my order?

Also just noticing the Imam has one of the worst looking ankle castings i've ever seen, :/

So far not very impressed.

Am considering just sending the order back...but they pretty much ignored me during the ordering process when I tried to modify my order so not sure if that would work...

I've had good experience w/ Brigade Games before. Their castings aren't always of the highest order but I have had good customer service. You should let them know there is a problem.

Hi, I agree with Panzerknacker Brigade Games' customer service is spot on, just email them with pictures. I'm not sure the sword is too short though I've had a look at a picture of one I've painted and it doesn't look any longer; might be the angle of photo though, I've included a link to the pic so you can make your own mind up.http://jacobiteirish.blogspot.co.uk/search?updated-max=2015-07-19T10:58:00-07:00&max-results=7

Mine ends where the 'groove' eds, methinks a little has come off, either way on second thought im happy to keep him.

Some of the other must go back though, to miscast/damaged, hopefully they will get back to me this time.
