Recently I've done a set of drop markers for British Airborne forces . So I've been asked to make a similar universal set since most other forces used a coloured smoke signal.
However its a smoke signal that's to be resin cast. Problem two its got to function as finished piece and as a dolly to have self clumping scenic foliage attached to it .So it needs to have some depth in its detailing which will transfer through a layer of 'foliage'But not so much that it doesn't looks something like smoke if you choose just to paint the resin.
So here's the first attempt/ concept. Not quite sure it works so its here . To see if its a case of I cant see the wood for the trees ,or I'm barking up the wrong one.
Please not I have already been reliably informed that it looks like an 'inside out dinosaur '(there's no one more honest than a five year old.)

Mark.

If I had Paras that would be ideal for their JOPs, I like it.
