And the Wind Changed Direction Saturday at Little Wars
« on: April 03, 2017, 04:07:21 PM »
Hey everyone! As I continue to develop my jet combat in the cold war rules set, Danger Zone, I will be having two events at the upcoming Little Wars in Lombard, IL, just outside Chicago at the Westin hotel.

http://www.hmgsmidwest.com/main%20LW.html

The second game is And the Wind Changed Direction on Saturday morning. From the PEL:

The year is 1961 and your Mercenary Air Combat Squadron has been hired by the Middle Eastern Emirate of Hidar. This is a sequel to the Down The Casbah Way game from Friday evening at 6pm, (but new players are welcome).

After the bombing of the Capitol, the King called up his jet fighters for payback. It's time to earn your pay by escorting a group of Canberra bombers as they take the fight back to the Kingdom of Fazil. Get the bombers through to their target, the palace of the King of Fazil himself. Make your way past enemy MiGs and AAA in this secret history of an alternative Cold War.

We'll have Mysteres, Super Mysteres, MiG 15s and MiG 17s trying to shoot down waves of Canberra bombers escorted by F100s, F86s, Hawker Hunters, and DeHavilland Venoms. I'm being sponsored by Pico Armor and Desktop Dioramas and hope to see you there.

I'll have ground terrain pieces including my custom built King's palace. Keep an eye out here for future sneak peeks here.
