Hi, folks. Thanks.  :)
@DoomsDave: Those trucks are very cool. I went to that Rite-Aid looking for a Postal Service Truck they used to have. They were out of those, but had these food trucks instead.

@AJSalium: I can't get to the vehicles right now. I will check later when I get off. I don't remember a brand on them, IIRC, it just said "Made in China". All of the vehicles pictured came from a Rite-Aid Drug store. Here's a pic of one with a Haloclix mini.

and here's a link to a blog entry from last night on those vehicles.

I hope that is helpful. I have several other police, fire and EMS vehicles I bought off e-bay, but no pics just yet.

Thanks for the coments everyone.

I was thinking the same thing. Your lay out looks very much like the maps they use to have in the old super hero RPG games. I remember many fights occurring on that same street corner.

@SundayHero: Thanks. That was one of the first things I thought when I went to the Sarissa Precision site.

@Commander Vyper: Thanks. Your Urban Zombie Board thread is a great inspiration. I do have some fencing.

@Michka: Thanks. That's cool.

@zizi666: I got them from Toy Soldiers Depot a while ago. Here's a link:

Looks great LuckeyJoe :)

Im also looking forward to hearing your take on painting your Sarissa buildings.
Here is an example that I am working on

I actually spray painted all the parts before assembley. That resulted in a bit of sanding in order to get the pieces to fit. The fittings are rather "snug", so with the extra layer of paint some care neede to be taken.

But as you can see the brick lines came out rather well. I just forgot to spray the ends of the side pieces...
Now I just need to figure out how to give the buidlings some "patina"  :D

regards
Thomas

@Tjantzen: That came out very nicely. I wasn't smart enough to prepaint mine prior to assembly. I hope to start painting mine soon. I'll be looking at your example when I start.

Hi, folks. I did a couple more projects for my cityboard. One was a scratchbuilt dumpster and the other was one of the Gamecraft Miniatures Old West buildings I'm using as a modern day Old West themed Steakhouse.

Here's a link if you're interested.

Curl up and Dye.... lol lol

I seem to remember Garrison Keillor using that name. Made me laugh then and still does....

Nice work on the buildings...

@Doug: Thanks very much. That was a fun building, though now I'm stymied for finding a 28mm beauty chair.  :)
